Do yourself and your back a favor and go rent a Sheetrock jack from Home Depot. I couldn't have done my ceiling without it. It's not terrible, just a pain in the neck.
They make a drill that coutersinks the screws just right or they sell an attachment for standard cordless drills. Buy a few cases of beer and call some buddies over for a few beers.... LOL

Thanks. MY FIL has all the equipment. My FIL and my wife's uncle literally built the entire second floor of the house. However, this was when he was much younger. I just don't want to look like too much of an idiot in front of him.
