fwiw, if you delete all of that shite about playing bama out, you will get a lot better responses...

to answer your question....I don't think it changed attendance one bit...but it damn sure changed my outlook in that I don't let myself get nearly as emotionally invested in the game/season any more...

This describes me as well. I was so wrapped up in 2011, and when it all came crashing down 2 years ago, I decided I wasn't letting that happen again. I still go and sit through every game, but I have greatly diminished my emotional investment in LSU football.

I stopped getting too emotionally invested sometime in the 1970s under Charlie Mac.
