Used to dress up for clients, my partner still does, now its blue jeans and a cap. If they dont like it they dont have to come back. I have found most actually seem to be much more at ease.

I hear you, but I'm old and old fashioned. I wore bow ties for years but would not wear them for jury trials. About 20 years ago I decided that I would wear one for a jury trial and did just fine. I haven't worn a tie other than a bow tie since.
