Wide open QB race this spring, but don't read too much into Jennings' performance. LSU's plan was to run the ball and not put it on the shoulders of a freshman QB. I suspect some of those sacks were by design. They told him not to throw it up for grabs, and not to take off running. Just take the sack and live to fight another down. It looked bad in the stat line, but we won the game.

Sure but a couple of times it looked like he lacked pocket presence and probably could have scrambled for a few yards or at least not taken as big of a loss.

Looking for a 2010 type offensive year. Lots of angst and a heavy dose of running the football. Maybe throw 12-15 times a game, at best.
