Schools like Allen and Southlake are twice the size of most Houston area schools.
I get what you're saying but
Houston has it's fair share of large schools. @ one point I know Elsik & Hastings were both over 4000. The Cypress area schools all sit around or over 3500. League City schools were pushing 3600. The woodlands is close to 4000. Lamar, Westide, all the Katy schools are about 3000 or more.

yea, there is a clear advantage in allen and southlake, but if you cant find 85 players in a school with 3000 kids means, they kids aint playing football anymore...i coach in houston and have worked at many of the schools listed above...fact is kids are doing other things...Pearland/Northshore/Spring Dekany/Lamar are all very large...
and yes Dallas owned houston this year...my dads school lost the State title game...
