Really? Maybe 3 weeks before NSD isn't the best time to say something like this. And why would you think Cam Cameron of all people would give an offer to someone he thinks cant play? Does he have a history of this that Im unaware of?

This little article talking about his upcoming visit to Rutgers on the 31st says he has been in contact with LSU and Miami. I can't fathom why we'd offer Rushing, and not Holland.

Glad to hear it, wish Minnesota was replaced with LSU.

JR knows how cold it gets up there, right?

My first trip was in early February 2002 - I left central Louisiana in the wee morning hours - it was probably in the upper 50s. I connected through Houston and the plane took off at 70 degrees. After we landed in Minneapolis, it was 8 degrees!!!???!!

I didn't think I was going to make it from the airport to the cab.

It's cold here also. The cold won't deter him from living his dreams(playing D1 football). "You have to luv who luv you"

Last time i was working in Minnesota was early Feb about 6 years ago. One morning it was -8 with wind chill -35. I thought I would die in my car on the way to the office.

I will say this, however.... That night the restaurants were full and people were having a good time. They just say screw it to weather like that, party on.

But it isn't like that all winter, every winter.

Looks like JR is a big kid who runs well - can't teach height or heart (as they say).

Hopefully he gets a free college education, a marketable degree/job skills, some great experiences, and the opportunity to play D1 ball. A lot of us would have liked that opportunity - had we been physically blessed. There are worse things in life than being a WR for the Golden Gophers (or wherever he ends up.)
