Well there's no denying AJ could've gotten more playing time and there's no denying that more reps are better for a young player. I mean, that's why these guys practice...for the reps.

Doesn't mean every new QB will struggle and doesn't mean AJ will fail just bc he didn't play much. But to let AJ play a quarter against UAB, let him throw some passes, etc might've been a good thing.
