Tony's Seafood does not put ice in a bag to put food in.
Federal and state law prohibits the sale of HOT prepared food to be purchased using the EBT / La Purchase card. Only COLD food is allowed for purchase.

The reason why seafood places can get away with it is because after it is boiled and placed in an "ice chest" for 30 minutes (i think), it is considered a "cold food." These "ice chests" are usually just big insulated tubs, that keep it hot, not cold. But this is why EBT is allowed on purchases of boiled seafood.
