I do not have a problem with any player using LSU as a springboard for success. If a major corporation offered you millions of dollars to leave school early and get paid now to do what you are majoring in, would you stay at LSU or hang out and wait? Pretty sure you would leave, I know I would.

IMO, it's mostly a case-by-case basis. If a player weighs all the factors and thinks it's in his best interest to leave early, they do.
It may be true that we aren't that much more talented than other teams, but in the specific cases it's enough to tip the scales.
It seems like Les is deliberately steering the program to a "3 and out" approach. It's a 2-edged sword and will be interesting to see how it works out.
I know only anecdotal, but it was neat to see Peyton and Kevin Faulk return for their senior seasons. They both took a risk but school loyalty and an opportunity to compete for championships prevailed.
Finally, most kids do aspire to play in the NFL. But it would be neat if those same kids aspired to play in TS on Sat night. We need to pioneer a program to get kids to TS on Sat night and make'em dream and show'em Faulk's press conf.
