As we have seen many times the Not For Long League is not the answer for most student athletes. How awesome is it to get your degree and be prepared for life and not just the NFL. I know it sounds trite but it is very true.

very short sighted....who says they can't come back and finish their degree like tons of other athletes have? the opportunity to bankroll or, at least, jump-start your future only happens once. strike while the iron is hot. factor the long term value of the degree from LSU that most of these kids are pursuing vs. signing bonus, and an average 5yr career in the nfl. if they've learned anything from their 3yr 'education' at LSU and they resist the rock-star lifestyle and get themselves a solid wealth management professional they will have secured their families future.
