I'm so sorry to hear about the struggles you and your wife are going through. How early did they catch the breast cancer, if you don't mind me asking...had it already spread or was it still isolated to the breast and/or nodes?

It was caught when it was pretty small. She had a double mastectomy and the doctors thought she would be fine. A little over a year later, she started having headaches and the head metastasis was found. We are on our 3rd clinical trial (MD Anderson, Tulane, and now NIH in Bethesda, MD). I think it's about time to let the fight go though. It has turned into a quality of life issue the last few weeks. She is 30.
