You mean like college? Which everyone seems to be happy with?

There was an AFC Championship decided by two 50 yard PI penalties, 1995 San Diego vs Pittsburgh.

The real problem with PI is not the yardage, but the fact it gets called much too often for, in many cases, little to no real contact. It should only be called when the defender actually grabs or holds or pushes & reroutes a receiver. They need to eliminate the "head wasn't turned " aspect of the penalty if the other criteria aren't met. The league should consider making PI a challengable call as well, at least for longer plays.
