most bubble teams have one really, really ugly loss on their resume. hopefully this is our lone blemish. need to take care of business in sec play and not lose to the mississippi state, texas a&m and south carolinas this year and we'll still be firmly on the bubble once everything shakes out. a win tuesday would be a great way to get things rolling

We needed this, I'd rather be a 10 or 11 seed than the 8 or 9 seed.

Our rebounding was horrible. I don't even want to look to see how many offensive rebounds Rhode Island had.

The problem is, while Butler is an "ok" win and UAB may turn in to a better win as the season goes forward, LSU really doesn't have much to hang its hat on in the OOC part of the schedule. If they could have gotten through without a "bad" loss then they probably would have been ok. But now, UT and Mizzou almost become must wins. And like you said, LSU can't lose to the bottom dwellers of the SEC.
