I just think I don't understand what your position is looking at some of your later posts in this thread. You're kind of all over the place.

And the advantage is they gain an additional possible year of earning potential in the NFL, and they get to the second contract earlier where their income is more reflective of their worth as opposed to the rookie contract when their value is locked in by scale.
