That's the school that recruited him hardest and got his commitment and of course he wants to recruit for them. Also, it doesn't hurt that it's his home state school. I'm pretty sure he wanted that LSU offer and it's only a matter of time til he flips.

Yes, it's been in the works for weeks. He reached out to the Staff, not vice versa. He would've been offered even with GWiii, possibly.

I come in peace. I know he is not going to LSU. He knows that LSU should have offered earliier in the game to have a real shot. He is a really good kid and will be a good very good player but unfortunately LSU was too late. Afraid Freeze has this one and his teamates headed to Oxford. And also, he did not reach out to LSU. Not sure where that rumor started but he confirmed. LSU has considered him a backup plan for better than a month now. He is very aware of this.
