Ed wants to be a head coach. If he doesn't get a head coaching job he's not just gonna go bust his arse as assistant. He wants to watch his son play high school ball.

How do you know he wouldnt accept anything other than a HC gig?

WELL, he can do that at LSU. Mandeville is only an hour from Baton Rouge. If he doesn't go elsewhere, Miles should hire him as DL coach and Recruiting Coordinator. Move Brick to LB's (If he doesn't go back to NFL) and let Chavis coach the Chinese Fire Drill Secondary. If he's at LSU, he can see his son play every week.
