Actually if he's spending $400 per month, using the average price of coffee in the US as a basis, that translates into 10 cups of coffee daily that the average coffee drinker would have to purchase to spend the same on coffee as he does on pot. As to who consumes the pot or coffee, that's a moot point since we're only discussing the cost of the product and not it's consumption.

this whole coffee argument is retarded, the prices for marijuana in this thread have been for high end marijuana, low end marijuana can be less than $50 per ounce. The coffee prices thrown around have been an average, so the 50 cent cup of coffee from a gas station is averaged in with the $6 cup of double espresso vanilla skinny latte with whipped cream.
