LSU is in trouble next year because (should still win 10)
- breaking in a new QB, no matter if Harris, Jennings, or Rettig
- losing our best OL
- losing out best RB (LF helps ease this but until he steps on field against collge kids he is a wild card)
- losing our two best and dynamic receivers

So LSU will be asking whatever QB wins the battle to do a lot and as we saw in defense this year it takes a unit awhile to click with a mass exodus of quality players.

The thing OU did well was throwing those passes into the teeth of the blitz that were short and underneath neutralizing that rush a little bit.
OU defense, even undersized, was able to neutralize the Bama offense despite being outgained. Getting pressure with a small dline without having to blitz every down helped as well.

The thing that concerns me is LSU has sacrificed size on defense and Bama still looks like monsters compared to what we are sending out there. The key next year for Bama is finding that QB game manager that doesn't make mistakes because the WR's and RB's (skill) they bring back is frightening. Still have to replace a few oline starters but I'm thinking Fournette might be 4th or 5th string had he chosen the Tide with Yeldon, Drake, Henry etc and guys like Dee Hart that can't even crack the depth chart.
