I grew up in a pretty financially strapped single-mom family. For us, "eating fancy" was Piccadilly.

That being the case, with a few exceptions I think most on this board don't look down on Red Lobster as being a "poors" place to eat.

It's just that with the abundance of reasonably priced fresh seafood being readily available in the Gulf South, it's pretty understandable to give a Gag Guy to Red Lobster when better, fresh food can be obtained at a gas station.
