Looked lost. Unprepared, and no, absolutely no accuracy. I mean even though it was his first start it's not like he's never thrown a ball before. No accuracy, has no timing. A complete bust of a start for him based on how much hype he got. Freshman or not.
The only light that could be shed on him was we won. Or better yet he didn't lose it for us.

Purpleandgold86. He did look like jefferson. Attitude was better then jj's. I know hes a true freshman. But damn i could have made some of the throws he missed on. He missed alot of open guys and floats balls way to much. Looks like brandon harris has a way more live arm. Cant wait to see him. Im a rettig fan myself. Hope he gets it together

LSU won.
He had his first start on a real big stage and he played well enough for LSU to win and I'm sure he'll improve.
It won't be his best game ever, but they won. He'll have better games that they'll lose.
