And see which one's operation you like the best, i.e. working the bolt, safety, etc. Of course, be aware that when you shoulder that gun in the store, you'll be looking through iron sights (if any at all). In the field, you'll be using a scope so your line of sight will need to be a little higher. That's ok w/ most stocks, but there may be a stock that naturally puts your line of sight a little too low for optimal scope use.
