BBC seems to be knocking it out of the park with almost everything they do.

Sherlock, obviously is great.
Luther is incredible.
Ripper street is great.
Broadchurch was really good.
My wife loves Dr. Who, and it's growing on me. The newer episodes are really good.

And i saw this was coming out

Fleming

Series about Ian Fleming

and this

Spies of Warsaw

Anymore BBC Series you recommend?

Not current, but all available on Netflix:

Skins (not BBC, but my favorite British show)
Coupling
Fawlty Towers

All the shows have ended, so you can take your time watching them.

The bbc shows are amazing.

A couple others that haven't been mentioned I don't think:

Wallander
The Fall
Cracker
Wire in the blood (British show, may not be bbc was on Netflix last I looked)

Not to mention all of their fantastic miniseries and TV movies they've made.

As someone who now lives in Wales, the show y'all should be looking forward to in America is The Escape Artist. Creepy as frick and great acting.

Not BBC but English: City of Vice with Ian McDiarmid and Iain Glen. Great mini-series set in historical London about the forming of the city's first police force.

Re: Doctor Who, Midnight is probably my favorite (or at least in the top three) new series episodes. Love the claustrophobic feeling, the acting, how they take a simple situation and make it fraught with anxiety and anger. Also love how Tennant tries his chipper 'wibbly wobbly timey wimey' benevolent shite and he nearly gets f'ed by something as simple as the darker side of human beings faced with an unknown and threatening situation. If only all the episodes were half this good.

Not sure if this will happen, but the second season of Ripper Street may not be it's last. Great show IMO. BBC puts these shows in terrible timeslots and when they lose out to bullshite reality TV they cancel them. I hope it's picked up by someone else.
