He had a lot of time to develop some nerves for the bowl game and the pressure was definitely on. That said, I think the kid did okay for his first start in a big situation. I hope...that if he gets the chance to prove himself next year that he will grow to be more comfortable running the team.
In any event, the QB race SHOULD be wide open next year.
Almost exactly what Risher said on the post-game show. But, alas, knee-jerk reactions abound on the Rant, even in the face of extremely small sample sizes.
