they want to go to neighborhood schools, so not necessarily the same students, right?
No students are bussed into St George from any EBR districts with the possible exception of a few who live on the "border" between schools.

The only change in students would be the kids who attend an EBR magnet school, including BRMHS, would not be allowed to continue at that school so they would be forced to attend one of the schools located in the new St George district.

all the teachers who want to flee the shitty EBR public school system,
At lower pay?

(they are going to have to build more to accommodate).
Which will take years to do and will accompanied with significant property tax increases for the St George homeowners, just like what happened in Central and Zachary. Besides, they have 3 new schools there already, built by the EBR system. They have to reimburse EBR for those new schools just like Central did for their new high school. Again, a tax increase will be needed to do that. Central passed "temporary" property tax dedicated to reimbursing EBR.

so BR kids will be bussed in to St. George schools?

this doesn't sound right?

teachers will take lower pay to work in a better environment. just ask every single teacher who works at a catholic school

Why would they have to reimburse for the schools? People in the St George area have been paying taxes for schools all along. It's like being charges twice for them.
