Turnips. The great thing about them is they get sweet after the first freeze. Just about the time all the native browse dies its just getting right. Of course a big pretty food plot is worthless if your soil sucks. The plants will look great but be bitter to the deer

Turnips. Plus, fried turnip chips aren't bad. Soybeans have a lot of protein and can also be used in your duck hole.
