Wasn't this the game that LSU let all the players drive on their own to Memphis? Also, didn't they go apeshit all over the city the entire week leading up to the game?

I was there. Cold, miserable, worst possible. Odd you'd bring it up, thought about it yesterday.

May have. It wasn't uncommon and may still go on about players being able to drive to bowls and such.
As for the team,I've never heard that put I've heard some stories about some game walk-through on Christmas Day either in the hotel parking lot of stadium parking lot.Sounds like this whole venture was a dumpster fire for everyone,players,coaches,fans and the fellow above from the band.
