If LSU comes to play, you're blown out. If LSU approaches this like last year's bowl, Iowa will win.

Our DLine is weak, physically and productively. I agree with your post pretty much (except for your DBs matching up with our WRs.... Explain please

I think we'll come out in our typical deep zone rather than trying to play man coverage. This often does a good job of limiting big plays. We do usually tackle well after the catch, which will need to happen with the moves Beckham and Landry can make after the catch. Our DBs are not slouches, with Lowrey likely playing in the NFL and King playing beyond his true frosh level.

So basically scheme to prevent big plays. They may very well catch 20 balls for 300 yards, but will hopefully be in front of our DBs.

I think I get what you're saying but if OBJ and Landry combine for 300 yards and AJ passes for at least that much, you guys are getting trounced.

15 yards per catch? What exactly do you consider a big play?

If Beckman and Landry combine for 20 catches and 300 yards receiving, LSU wins in a blowout

BrewHawk, don't you understand, every big ten team is inferior to even the worst SEC team. LSU will win because CBS and ESPN says everyone in the SEC is just an eye lash of being NFL.

This may have been said in the previous 23 pages that I'm not about to read, but if you sit back in a deep zone, you can't stop our running game. If you stack the box and try to single (or even double) cover OBJ and Landry, you will get gashed by them. Y'all will put 8 in the box, have man coverage on OBJ and Landry, and have a safety on the strong side of the field and pray that Jennings doesn't show out. That's your only hope.
