I think you're the one with that problem, Pal. That or you're getting your feelings hurt so bad you're shopping for insults. So, which is it, Goober?

considering they have no one to talk to on their boards...

anyway, as all LSU fans know, if the team that played the Aggies shows up, will be a long afternoon for the hawkeyes...if the team that played Ole Miss shows up...could be long for us...

i do think the hawkeye nation has an overinflated view of their importance within the college football universe...

The masses of Iowa fans wear the black and gold glasses. If they beat LSU most of them will be screaming that they will win it all next year. OH and look at there schedule for the 14 season. Has IOWA ever opened a season with a real OPP?????

First off, no one has stopped our recieving core and that isn't changing, secondly our Dline can play they just don't?? I see us shutting down the pass game and Iowa not scoring much, I think we will stop your rushing attack also! All our Dline heard this week is how awful they are so I believe they WILL be out to prove something to Iowa. We lost last years bowl game and these boys are prideful, LSU 35 Iowa 17. Then we kill it the next day in recruiting can't wait!!! It's pretty cool that we will be in FL too, that's where our future is right now, all our new prospects I mean. What a team we will have in the future! Iowa isn't winning shite convincingly!!!!!!

Iowa has a lot of heady players. Real students of the game. Motors that never stop. They're all like coaches on the field. Lotta hustle out of that group.

Or somesuch.

You mean like a team fresh off a bcs bowl? Or a home and away with a B12 team? SEC doesn’t know much about a home and away series in the non-con. You’re more into the “neutral field” games in Texas and the FCS games that don’t count against your BCS resume.

Let's be honest. No one cares enough about Iowa to see them in any such games.

B12 team home and away? Are you talking about Iowa State? ISU/Iowa is in in-state rivalry rather than a B10 B12 match-up Our neutral field is at least a powerhouse in the B10, being Wisconsin... LSU has tried to schedule a home and home or neutral field with Iowa but they will not do it.. And for Iowa what does it matter if it's a neutral site or home and home, Iowa travels no matter what

I wish we would schedule some cool games, this has been a hot topic on Iowa boards over the years. Under Hayden Fry we had tons of quality games and even into a couple of Kirks early years. I guess he figures Iowa is usually a team that takes a few games to gel so they don't schedule top tier schools.

Whats more important though, exposure and a chance for a win or a win vs sub par teams.

I would love for Iowa to cut the ISU game back to every couple years and play teams that we should be like Missouri, Kansas St, Kansas, ND, and all the schools in states where Hawkeyes roam like Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas, Florida each state with multiple BCS schools save Colorado.

I see your running game being limited, the DBs playing well of your WRs to prevent big plays and a concession of the short passing game to make Jennings beat the Hawks with repeated consistency. He will be the key to you guys winning. If he plays well, you have a shot. If he struggles then I see Iowa with a convincing win.

In the end, I see Iowa winning 24-13 or 33-23. A greater spread wouldn't surprise me in the least, especially if Jennings struggles.

Jennings struggled, refs helped Iowa, Hawkeyes still lost.

How do those predictions taste? Not bad, Iowa's total team offense equaled Jeremy Hill's

May have been bumped but I'm bumping again...just too good.

When I look at the match-up, the thing that jumps out at me is the need for a running game for both teams to be successful (especially with Mettenberger out). This makes line play the deciding factor (as it often is). This is also where I think Iowa has an advantage after watching a few of your games.
