The poster offshoretrash had an awesome thread on it a few years back. He is prob the pro trapper on this board. He might have pointers in it if you google for it

snares work really good and are a lot easier to set.

I was told this works

4-5 foot PVC pipe big enough for a yote to get in. Prop it up at an angle by a brush pile or something where he can get to the top and crawl in. Put chicken at the bottom.
Yote crawls in and can not back out
