That empty stadium TCU pic was taken in the second quarter. I was there

Fair weather fans for sure

Baylor fans aren't much better

I'll be the first to admit that TCU's fans are fair-weather.

Baylor doesn't even seem to have those, because if the weather hasn't been "fair" for their program the past couple of seasons then nothing short of a national championship is considered "fair". Just writing this post has me wondering if they would fail to sell their allotment for a national championship--I doubt that would be the case, but its also not a completely ridiculous thing to wonder.

All-in-all, If you can't sell bowl tickets after the season that they have had, then you've got a lot worse problems than a program with fair-weather fans. TCU probably brought an average of 30,000 fair-weather fans to their 2 BCS bowls, and the situation around our Fiesta Bowl bid was strikingly similar to theirs in regards to a lackluster matchup--though we had greater reason for disappointment as we were barely on the outside of the title game picture after an undefeated season. Considering Baylor got into the Fiesta Bowl from a situation where they didn't control their destiny, they should be fricking ecstatic. There just aren't enough of them to get ecstatic.
