Not wanting to spend all that money going to an exhibition game is by no means some kind of failure.

If Baylor doesn't travel for a huge bowl like this, expect them to end up getting shite bowls from the Big 12 for the next few years.

Teams who have a reputation for traveling well, like Oklahoma and Texas, tend to get preference from the various bowls to teams who don't travel well.

It's not like Baylor's reputation for crappy fan support is new, either. They're well known within the Big 12 for travelling poorly to anywhere further than College Station.

Exactly, this will hurt them in the future

It's why TCU was the first of five 7-5 teams from the Big 12 selected during Big 12 bowl selection last year, because their previous travelling fanbase had done well in Glendale and Pasadena.

Ok. What happens then? If Baylor fans don't care to go to the Fiesta Bowl, they probably won't care to go to the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, either.

They couldn't even sell their allotment for their final game in College Station...with Robert Griffin...and their last chance to show "Aggy" who was boss before they went to the SEC.

Of course, 55-28 happened...
