I heard rumors that Sark had contacted Coach O and asked him to come back to SC. ESPN and several other news outlets are confirming it.

IMHO he should do it. The players and fans love him, and he is a damned good DL coach and elite recruiter.

If I were him, I would take a piss on the 50 yard line in the Coliseum, throw up the bird, and never set foot back on that campus.

He does seem to be respected if not loved by the kids that played for him. He's obviously pissed that they passed him over for head coach and at some level I can empathize.

I dunno if he gets another head coaching job at a major school right now tho - and a job as DC at USC is better than being head coach of a small time program (maybe even a lower tier BCS school)

I see SC doesn't want to stop its cheating ways...

Didn't think Sark played ball that way.

Bad idea for USC IMO. There's so much loyalty to Orgeron from some of the players that he could undermine Sark

Unwritten rule is that if you interview for the HC as a staff member and do not get the gig you are obligated to resign. Now add to that Ed actually was the interim HC, forget about it. NO WAY Sark should even consider Ed on his staff. USC already tried to buy Ed by offering him the highest paid asst coach money. He got mad and resigned. Not sure if he walked with money or not.
