ive always said 25 means nothing. 85 is the number. Coaches find ways around the 25, you cant find ways around the 85.

Isn't the 25 number an SEC rule (that other conference have had for a while now)? So there's no real penalties anyway?
From what I understood it was to limit the number committed where schools were 'stockpiling' commits to take them away from other schools. In the end left several kids without schollies.

The rule- a player that signs financial papers before dec that HAS NOT taken an official visit can pay his way for summer and get a scholly in August and not count against number. Hottie took OV to bama so he counts against the 25
