Players that sign financial aid papers.

I was listening to Hanigriff's show Friday and some guru was on there talking about loop holes in the new rule. This is the way he explained it. For example Hootie Jones signed financial aid papers with LSU and Alabama. Which locks the school into him. He is guaranteed a scholarship at which ever school he choses. He is in no way locked in to LSU or Bama. He can still go anywhere he wants, it just means that the school can't back out of their offer. It also means the school has unlimited contact with him during the dead period. I think most of us know about these parts of the new rule. Now here is what he said most ppl don't know. Now lets say Hootie decides he is going to Alabama. Instead he pay his own way for the spring semester. In the fall he enrolls on scholarship and it never counts against the 25 signing limit. They were saying that for sure this loophole would get fixed, I just found it interesting and had never heard of this.

Edit: I had forgotten that he mentioned, the player must not have taken a official visit to the school he enrolled in. This would not apply to Hootie because he took a official there.
