re: Walking around Charlotte

I moved up to Charlotte about 2 years ago and absolutely love it. It is very much a transplant city though, so most the younger people have gone home for the holidays and explains the thinner crowd. If I were you I'd stay uptown and hit the 5th Street bars after the game. The epicenter is nice but bars there tend to attract more of the affliction crowd. If you're still in town tomorrow hit up Heist brewery in Noda for brunch or any of the several other breweries really. Hope you enjoy the clean, beautiful, city with typically great weather.... Also you might want to check out Cans after the game. It's next to a bar called All-American in southend. It's pretty party but outside of uptown.
