I guess it makes me feel better somehow that that win seems to be a big game in Iowa history. Saban certainly didn't give two shits about it at the time.

Yeah...seeing as though every team in the country would count one of the top 10 bowl game endings in HISTORY (might be top 5)as a "big game".

That is the one thing that originally turned me off to Saban. Let the gumps think that it's all about them but Nick was a prick and it wasn't until he left that the truth really came out.

Didn't Nick pretty much totally rag out Prude and put the blame 100% on him in the locker room just before leaving the room and the program without so much as a goodbye and thanks (for making my career) for the effort?

I don't want to take anything away from the awesome effort that Iowa put forth and I am only saying how wretched Nick acted on his way out.
