Top 6 getting wins or all play may be the most "fair".
But it takes the fun out of it IMO. FF is about playing H2H, catching good/bad breaks. It shouldn't be taken so seriously IMO

Nah you don't get it. By playing the top 6 get a win bottom 6 get a loss, you still have the head to head thing going. Imagine going into Monday night and having to worry about 3-4 teams instead of one. It's way better. Head to head gets stale when garbage teams stop caring half way through the season. With top 6 bottom 6 everyone is paying attention to every team each week. Plus you don't have BS losses where you lose to the top scoring team despite being the 2nd highest team that week. I put it together about 3 years ago and didn't know anyone who played like that. Now everyone who does it prefers it to regular head to head or roto. Trust me, it's as good as it gets for fantasy football.
