it's not just the ticket prices, but the treatment of the fans at all levels...

look at next year's schedule as a good example...we start with Wisconsin at Reliant!!!!

throw in the traffic and parking problems, people are just plain getting pissed off...

when there are big time TAF members who are missing their first LSU bowl in twenty or thirty years, there is a problem...

totally unrelated question, is anyone else having to use "shift" "enter" in order to put spaces in between lines of their posts?

couple of issues here

this is sort of a catch-22 situation. fanbase wants compelling OOC matchups, but these teams refuse to play the home and home. so do you want the boring home games (which we also have next season) or the interesting matchups?

traffic problems have existed for seasons. Much of that is due to lack of infrastructure that restricts access in and out of the university

this comment is not directed at you, but patience levels really decline with age

sometimes we have to make choices on which games we can attend. i also think that games in Texas will stop for a while after this run of them from 2011-2014

If you have these issues with our Athletic Department, then you can start cheering for Tulane, because you won't find a major D-1, consistently succesful program in the country that doesn't have the same issues.

You're only going to insult LSU Fans/Alums so long and so much before there is an uprising of revolt!

This past 2013 season, Jeaux boy moved the Home + Home with TCU to a one time at Jerry World, (Dallas TEXAS) then spewed out UAB, Kent.State and Furman in Tiger Stadium.

In 2014, we got Wisconsin at Reliant, (Houston TEXAS) then Sam Houston St, UL-M and New Mexico St. in Tiger Stadium.

Let's go back a few years for those with short memories.

In 2009, we opened with Washington in Sasquatch Country WASHINGTON, then had U.S.L., Tulane and La.Tech at home.

In 2010, we opened up with North Carolina in Atlanta GEORGIA at the Chicken Dome and then West Virginia, McNeese and Louisiana-Monroe in TS.

In 2011, Jerry World in Dallas TEXAS hosted the Tigers opening up the season with Oregon, followed by Northwestern State (NW Louisiana) and Western Kentucky at home.

In 2012, the rapidly declining atmosphere crowd in Tiger Stadium was witness to North Texas, Washington, Idaho and Towson.St.

So in six years, we have seen TWO respectable OOC teams play in Tiger Stadium. (Washington and West Virginia) That's unacceptable!

Add to this, the increasingly irritating chore of traveling to the stadium and finding a parking spot, combined with too many day games and the declining stadium atmosphere (Growing % of corporate "Cheeser" people that don't make any noise, leave early and really could care less about LSU football, annoying piped in music, declining quality of Tiger Band half-time shows) and many LSU fans have just about reached the point of no return and are saying "F it, I'm done" as far as season tickets go. Been there, done that. The thrill is gone.

See yall at the CBS Prime-Time Alabama night game next season. (Or any of the other SEC games that might be lucky enough to make it past the Vampire Killers)
