Why not utilize more of a 3 step drop back?

With the pressure Brees has been under when he goes to a standard dropback, why haven't the Saints utilized a 3 step drop on occasion? I'll hang up and listen.......

Because of Drew's height issue. 5 and 7 step drops are the norm on purpose to get him deeper in the pocket in order to make it easier to see over the line.

If we could run the ball I would not be worried at all. But we can't run block and are a one-dimensional offense, so defenses are quickly figuring us out on the road...for some reason at home, we're damn near unbeatable even though the defense knows we're throwing.

I use "we" like I'm on the team or something.
