Are you really trying to say the media wouldn't gift Bama/Saban a mulligan in a FOUR team scenario after what they did in 2011 when it was just a TWO team scenario? Really?

I'm saying that would be the case. Bama would be favored against any team in the country in a playoff right now. Most analysts consider Bama to be the best team in the country. They couldn't hold Auburn out as they are the SEC champion. Both would be in.

My guess is the committee would let in two SEC teams in that scenario, but make them play in the first round
