Part of it is that the media has to get on board and attach a label to a guy as the most dominant coach. Not to say Saban isn't worthy on his own, but he was a great, perhaps not legendary coach before obtaining that reputation, which helped to really make him untouchable.

If that happens and the guy gets in the right situation, I can see someone else rising up. I doubt they'll match Saban, but you might get a guy that is head and shoulders above the other strong coaches.
