I loved Jackman and Gyllenhaal in it. I wasn't surprised that

Paul Dano wasn't the killer, but it was a great film and had a lot of twists towards the end (especially the ending scene).

Amazing movie. I thought I had it figured out at least twice. I didn't see the end coming.
SPOILERS (question but still SPOILERS):
What was the deal with the guy drawing all the mazes? The one with all the clothes in locked boxes and the snakes.
How was he related to the "aunt" or whatever? Was he kidnapped as a child by the guy wearing the maze necklace and that's why he remembered it?
They said "you can go home when you finish the mazes" but the one he drew was unsolvable. So he went crazy trying to find a way out? Am I close there?
