If true, Mack just sabotaged the Saban deal.

And, that's fine with me.

Something tells me it will work out better for Texas in the long run, and with Alabama being the only marquee game on our schedule next season, I'm glad Saban is there.

It wouldn't surprise me if this was his objective all along. He knew it was over for him but do whatever it took to keep Saban out of Texas.
