We play @ Denver, Golden State, LAC, POR, and SAC

We're currently 4-8 against Western Conference teams. 7-2 against the East. It would be nice for our team to beat some of the big dogs in the West. This road trip will be a nice measuring stick for us if you believe in that type of stuff.

Also...for the Fire Monty Crowd (FMC now officially) were 5-2 in our last season and its clear that this team is beginning to gel. We play with much more of a rhythm than we did at the very start of the year. There are still some issues I see defensively but we don't have Davis at the moment so ill reserve any comments on that for now.

It would be awesome if they could split the first four.

Golden State isn't even in the top 8 right now. This western conference is ridiculous. We need to win at either Denver or Golden State if we want to compete for the playoffs imo. Phoenix is on a 4 game winning streak, but i'm still hoping they fall out of the race. I can see Memphis, minnesota, and LA all missing the playoffs. If phoenix falls out, it'll be NO, Denver, Dallas, and Golden State fighting for the last 3 playoff spots.

Clippers, Houston, San antonio, Thunder, and Portland are all locks.

Monty failed his first test of the season with Anderson out and Tyreke not recovered, but IMO he's always had the entire season to prove himself. If he keeps this team around .500 with AD out then the playoffs are still within reach and if they make the playoffs then his job is obviously safe.

I also am starting to wonder if not being able to coach around Ryan Anderson being out was a realistic criticism. He really does make this roster work and is easily the #2 most important player on this team, maybe even #1b.
