I'm not the sappy kind of guy but the very first time I ever heard that song was on the way to the burial. I had to change the channel after the first verse.

First time I heard that song I immediately thought of Josey. Probably the first one of Luke Bryans songs I've actually liked.

Probably 4 or 5 years ago at my camp. This is the Josey I will always remember. Big ole boy with a red beard that a stranger wouldn't think of tussling with. I don't care for the version after he lost all his defining features.

Knowing he had such great friends who are still hurting with us and thinking about him helps. His final resting place is an hour away but that's where his mom spent this Valentine afternoon.

I can only imagine that Mrs. EJW had a pretty rough first valentines day without him, hope the kids won the whole jump rope contest and were properly recognized for it today
