The shattering of what credibility he has left, what he's tried to repair since leaving Miami, is the only reason I think he might stay. I don't think his ego will let another move tarnish his legacy. I don't believe he likes being branded a liar and a turncoat.

Everybody already knows he's a liar.

Bama fans excuse it because they are averaging 12 wins a year since he got there.

It's as simple as that.

That is so fricking cute. I remember lurking on here as bama courted him. The gumps had ZERO and I mean ZERO concern with morals or appearance.

All he cares about is his ego. He don't give a damn about what others think about him. He's out for himself.

If he stays, it's for professional reasons not because he's worried about his image.

Its not his credibility that matters here. Its his wife's. "We're retiring here" Terry Saban in the WSJ. If he throws her under the bus and goes to UTx he'll loose it with EVERYONE.

People are reading too much into this. When 60 minutes asked, what was he supposed to say? "Yes I lied on purpose so what".... I don't think so. Also when asked in general terms about his future in interviews what do you expect him to say.? "I'm Ok here but would jump ship if certain jobs come open".. Not very smart.

To this point he is doing the right thing in this situation. He can't comment on a job that is not even officially open.
