Since Collins was left off the All SEC teams, is this a sign he will return next season? I'm pretty sure Les and stud will get him back..

We were next to his gf on the walk down against tamu and asked her. He doesn't have that many hours left to graduate. He gone.

He wont be rated as a top 5 Tackle and if he is rated the 6-10 tackle, I dont see him going. hell fall even further if Greg Robinson comes out, which he likely will.

he should stay...its weird how saban can get his top players to stay for 4 years and we cant get players that are on the fence and could benefit another year to stay....wonder what he is telling them to make them stay because we need to find out and tell our players to entice them to stay...

The $ is in the second contract, period. Advancing the clock one year toward that second contract is much more valuable than delaying the second contract to improve the first.

LSU players leave if they have a chance of getting picked up in free agency.

Maybe he should ask Chris Faulk about it!

He instagrammed a pic of him driving around in a Maybach the other day.

Methinks he is gone.

I wish he would stay to earn a higher draft grade and make more money on his only guaranteed contract. But in light of many others going early (when they were lowly projected) I don't think common sense is a given.

FWIW it would arguably be common sense to go early if you were projected to be a 1st round pick or maybe a second rounder. But going early when you might make a lot more by waiting a year just doesn't make sense to me. The average NFL career is only 3 years. There are no guarantees

This has nothing to do with whether or not he will return to LSU. What matters (or at least should) is where he is graded should he choose to go to the NFL. IIRC, he's not in the top-5 rated LTs, but somewhere between 6-10. Still, LT is a highly "in-demand" position in the NFL and being in the top 10 generally means you'll get drafted no later than the 2nd - 3rd round. I'm not sure how the potential draft class behind him looks, but I'd assume he have the possiblity of being in the top 5 LTs next year. However, we saw Chris Faulk go into last year as a likely top 5 LT only to miss the season and drop significantly in the draft.

I think most fans need to understand the current mindset kids have about entering the NFL draft early. It used to be that nobody left college early unless they were a sure-fire first rounder. Now, just being a sure-fire draft pick (anywhere in rounds 1-7) is enough for most of these guys to forego their college eligibility. Every kid that signs to play major college football at a school like LSU thinks they are good enough to eventually play in the NFL. For most, college is viewed as nothing more than an obligatory "minor league" which they are trying to get out of ASAP

Go out while his stock is high, could come back get hurt and never sniff the NFL like the offensive lineman recently. I hope he goes and gets drafted

LC was rated no.1 at his position coming out of high school. Why aren't our lineman being drafted higher. Are they not being developed? We all know the answer and the solution. Something has got to change. He will leave because he will blow them away at the combine.

I understand the lure of the money, but bama won 2 titles cus they had continuity on the line. It would be nice to return every starter on the online for a change.
