Yeah, they do. Some are kind of dorky/weird, but not all.

That the students would have some kind of organized chant or song and a constant clap of hands to some rythmn. Not to a song on the PA system. Rest of fans usually join in. I've visited these away games in the past 2 seasons UMass, (Memphis, Purdue, Butler at the OSC), Miss. State and even Texas A&M all do this. Right before the line-ups are announced, and sometimes during the game (Memphis fans were the loudest & most organized,. They threw blue & white confetti when the game started and remained standing until their 1st basket).
They could all shout some things out during the game - I particularly like yelling at the refs, as they do in EPL soccer!!

That the media seating be removed from the area to the right of the student section. Also, move the band higher up. More students lower down in seats, where the media ppl are currently, would have more impact than just that narrow section they have now. At UMass, Miss. St., and Texas A & M, the students had the entire section behind the basket and the band flanked them, but higher up.
