I'm not a big fan of US News rankings but decided to take a look. According to their MBA Program Rankings:

Going into the numbers in your link, a higher percentage of LSU MBAs are employed at graduation than Tulane MBAs but the average starting salary for LSU grads is significantly lower.
Still though, the rankings are a good place to start and show that the difference is less than OP may realize. Comparing LSU and Tulane for an MBA program is different than comparing them as an undergraduate institution. Again, I think Tulane is not worth the price considering what LSU has to offer.
