We would get rolled at least 300 yards rushing probably more

LSU is built to stop teams like Auburn, but they would still put up 200+ rushing.

Wouldn't matter because we would out score either of them.

We match up very nicely with both of these teams....if QB play is decent.

If they didn't decide to run Tre Mason too late, we'd have had a big arse problem. I mean it was 21-0 at half. Then they started feeding him and they scored 2 TDs in 7 minutes. Mason was literally gaining 6-7 yards almost every run. Dude had two runs go for less than 6 yards the whole first half, then they started feeding him and he scored twice in three drives in the 3rd.

If they ran him more early, the game would have been close. We shut down our offense and defense midway through the third, but we would not have if they were smart enough to use their weapons.

Probably don't qualify as a resident expert but here's my take:
- I think we would probably go straight man with our CB's on their wideouts. If you can do this it allows you some opportunities to gamble in other respects.
- Count it a 'win' if there's a stop, TO, or a FG
- Play possession ball which we could do to control the flow of the game.

LSU's defense is the reason they aren't in the SECCG. So what's the point of this thread.

Couldn't have looked at any worse. I'll bet we could've held Aubie to 42 today.

Good enough to allow our offense to score one hundred.

Was there even any defensive last night?
